Shortcut Key Utility driver II for Windows 98/Me - ThinkPad 1400, 1500 (2611)

The package provides the ShortCut Key functions for the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad i Series 1400*
- ThinkPad i Series 1500
Notes:
- Only the following Model-Type numbers are supported:
2611 - 40x, 412, 452, 456, 47x, 49x, (43x except 434, 435)
- Your machine type is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
- Drivers in different languages may not be the same version (check the following file descriptions). The English version will work in all countries, and can be substituted if the version for your language is not the same as the English version. |

I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions Windows 98
Note:
Before installing ShoutCut Key Utility package, run Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel to remove the previous Notebook Manager, if any.
- Start Windows 98.
- Extract the ShoutCut Key Utility package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then select Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\SCUTKEY\setup.exe in the Open box. Then click the OK button.
- Click Next to continue with the setup program.
- Follow the procedure to complete the installation.
III. Installation instructions Windows Me
Note:
Before installing ShoutCut Key Utility package, run Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel to remove the previous Notebook Manager, if any.
- Turn on the computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type C:\default_subdirectory\SETUP.EXE in the Open box, where C:\default_subdirectory is the path to the files your extracted in the previous step.
- Press Enter key after providing the correct path.
- Click Next at the Welcome dialog box. The ShortCut Keys Utility will be automatically installed to the C:\Program Files\FnUtil\ShortCut Keys Utility folder. For best results, accept the default folder for the files to be copied to.
- Click Next to start copying files to your system.
- Click OK to restart the computer.
IV. Uninstall instructions
If the previous version is installed, follow the instructions below to remove it:
- Turn on the computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
- Click Start, then select Settings, then click Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs applet.
- Select ShortCut Keys Utility, and click Add/Remove.
- Click Yes to remove ShortCut Keys Utility.
- Click OK.
- Restart your computer and make the change effective.
