The NoteBook Manager Package enables or updates the NoteBook Manager function program of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad i Series 1200 Machine type 1161 - 21x, 23x, 25x, 26x, 45N, 65N, RR5, RR6, RR7, RR8, WPM
- ThinkPad i Series 1300 Machine type 1171 - 310, 320, 330, 337, 33F, 340, 370, 377, 37F, NMU, RRA, RR6, RR7, RR8, RR9, VC1, VC2
- ThinkPad 130 Machine type 1171 - 334, 335, 374, 375
NOTES:
- Your machine type is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 2000, and Microsoft Windows Me.

I. Summary of changes

- (Fix) It is impossible to drag a boot sequence item to the bottom of the list.
- (Fix) After making a change to the boot sequence, rebooting is the only option to exit.

II. Installation instructions
Before installing the NoteBook Manager package, run Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel to remove the Notebook Manager that is currently installed.
- Start Windows 98/Me.
- Extract the NoteBook Manager package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W9x\NBUTIL\setup.exe in the Open box and click the OK button.
- Click Next to continue with the setup program.
- Follow the procedure to complete the installation.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows 98/Me.
- Click Start, point to Programs, point toNotebook Manager, then select Notebook Manager to bring up the Notebook Manager window.
- Right-click anywhere on the Notebook Manager window to pop up a menu.
- Select About to show the version number.
