The SR9 Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 4X Adapter with S3 Savage 4 eXtreme is a video subsystem that provides 2D and 3D DVI-I video acceleration in selected PC 300PL, PC 300GL, and CDT systems. This adapter offers:
  • AGP 4X technology
  • 166 MHz memory support
  • 16 MB SGRAM local frame buffer
  • Digital and Analog TFT and CRT support


The SR9 4X AGP Adapter complements leading-edge DVI digital monitors such as the T55D (1024 x 768) and T85D (1280 x 1024), and traditional analog monitors. Features include:

  • DDWG Digital Video Port (DVI-I) -- supports both analog video and digital (TMDS) output, DD2B, and hot-plugging detection with suitable operating system support
  • Digital TMDS Port -- supports up to VESA SXGA (1280 x 1024) 60 Hz
  • Completely integrated video subsystem on a chip including 2D and 3D graphics and a video port
  • 66 MHz accelerated graphics port (AGP); 4X system bus interface with sideband address support
  • Command list busmastering support for super-fast 2D and 3D performance
  • 64-bit, 166 MHz SGRAM interface
  • 256 MHz, 24-bit internal RAMDAC -- supports up to 75 Hz refresh rate at 1600 x 1200
  • Flashable video BIOS that can be upgraded by diskette
  • Advanced power management support (DPMS)
  • Complete plug-and-play support
