Video driver for Windows 98/Me - ThinkPad 1400, 1500 (2621, 2651)

This package provides the video driver for Microsoft Windows 98-Me users.
Only the following Machine Types and Models are supported:
- ThinkPad i Series 1400 Type 2621 - All models
- ThinkPad i Series 1500 Type 2621-2651 - All models
Note:
- Your machine type and model number can be found on the bottom of the unit next to the bar code label.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

NOTE : This driver will automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

I. Summary of changes

- (New) Support for ThinkPad i Series 1400 Type 2621 - All models, ThinkPad i Series 1500 Type 2621/2651 - All models
II. Installation instructions
- Start Windows 98/Me.
- Extract the Video feature driver on the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run .
- In the run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify the location instead.
- Select ATI Easy Install .
- When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button.
- At the Software License Agreement screen, if you agree click Yes .
- Click Express Install .
- If the Digital Signature Notification window appears, follow these steps: Click Advanced button. Select Warm when installing unsigned devices and click OK button.Click Yes button.
- Click OK button.
- At Setup complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now and click Finish .
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows 98/Me.
- Click Start , then select Settings , then click Control Panel .
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced (Properties) button.
- Click the Options tab, and then it will show the version number. NOTE: If there is no Options tab, it means the native driver is installed
