Operating systems other than those preinstalled on the systems may not provide full-feature functionality.
While playing a DVD movie in 256 color mode on a ThinkPad T20 running Windows NT 4.0, a pink vertical line appears on the external CRT.
It is recommended to switch display to another color mode.
Closed caption option is not available on DVD Express on T20 systems running Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000. Subtitles are available which may work instead.
Installation of DVD Express in Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 Requires administrator privileges. DVD Express application will not install in user mode.
Frame drop may occur under Windows NT 4.0 DVD playback when running TV mode only. Run DVD playback in LCD and TV mode to correct this.
With Windows NT 4.0, if enable TV is selected while DVD is in playback, a blue screen can appear. Do not enable or disable TV while DVD is in playback.
The Aspect ratio of an MPEG-2 movie may be incorrect when played using Media Player. Use DVD Express instead of Media Player for MPEG-2 movies.
When display mode is 1024 x 768, 32 bit true color video mode running multiple displays, such as LCD and CRT, DVD playback may show poor performance. It is suggested to use 16bit color instead.
