• Previous versions of these operating systems are not supported:
  • IBM PC DOS 7.0
  • Microsoft Windows 3.0
  • MS-DOS 6.0
  • IBM OS/2 Version 3.0
  • Microsoft Windows NT 3.51
• Operating systems other than those preinstalled on the systems may not provide full-feature functionality

The following IBM system software is supported:

• OS/2 LAN Server Entry Version 4.0 (*)
• OS/2 LAN Server Advanced Version 4.0 (*)
  * Client function only was tested.
  
  
• DVD Express will not play DVD/VCD movies when the DVD drive is installed in a ThinkPad Docking station. It is recommended to play DVDs with the DVD drive installed in the ThinkPad.
• Video resolution of 800x600 at 256 colors is not a supported resolution for DVD playback.
