Video driver for Windows NT - ThinkPad 240X/Z

This package provides the display driver for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 users.
The display driver enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad system:
- ThinkPad 240X/Z
NOTES:
For ThinkPad 240X users
This version of the display driver will only work with System Program Service Diskette Version 1.04 (BIOS Version 1.03.57) or higher. A link to access the BIOS is provided below.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, MicrosoftWindows 98, MicrosoftWindows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

NOTE:
For ThinkPad 240Z users, this display driver version will only work with BIOS Version 1.03.57 (or higher). Get the additional package, System Program Service Diskette Version 1.04 (BIOS Version 1.03.57) or higher, and update the BIOS in the system prior to installing the video driver.
- (Fix) (ThinkPad 240Z [XGA/VRAM: 4 MB Model] only) The external monitor does not display output with 1280 x 1024 resolution with 16M colors.

NOTE: *1The approximate value when using only an external monitor. When the LCD and external monitor are used at the same time, refresh rate, resolution, or color depth may be lower. And if you are using an old external monitor, the resolution and color depth might be limited.
II. Installation instructions
- Start Windows NT 4.0 and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
- Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the system for the driver to be effective.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows NT 4.0.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click the Display Type button. The version is displayed in the version number of Driver Information section.
