II. Installation instructions

1. Start Windows 2000 and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
   
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
   
3. Click Start, then click Run.
   
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button.
   
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
   
6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows 2000.
   
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
   
3. Double-click the System icon.
   
4. Click the Hardware tab, then the Device Manager button.
   
5. Double-click Display Adapters.
   
6. Double-click Silicon Motion Lynx+.
   
7. Click Driver tab.
   
8. Click Driver File Details button. The version is displayed in the File Version Line.
