1. Start Windows Me/2000.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\FIR\WINME2K\IRSUPP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Reboot the system for the driver to be effective.

Installing IBM LCD Color Profile support Windows 98/98SE/Me

1. Start Windows 98/98SE/Me.
2. If you have not, extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click the Display icon.
5. Click the Settings tab, and the Advanced button.
6. Click the Monitor tab, and the Change button.
7. Click Have Disk.
8. For Windows Me type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\IBMLCD\WINME, for Windows 98/98SE type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\IBMLCD\WIN98 and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
9. For Me confirm IBMTPLCD.INF is selected, for 98/98SE confirm IBM_TP.INF, and click OK or Apply.
10. Select one panel in the list you are using now, and click Apply.
11. Select Color Management tab to make sure for Me that IBMTPLCD and for 98/98SE that IBM_TP is shown in Color Profiles window.
12. Close all windows, then the installation has been finished.

Installing IBM LCD Color Profile support Windows 2000

1. Start Windows 2000.
2. If you have not, extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
4. Double-click the Display icon.
5. Click the Settings tab, and the Advanced button.
6. Click the Monitor tab, and the Properties button.
7. Click the Driver tab, and the Update Driver button.
8. In the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard, Select Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver. Click Next.
9. Click Have Disk.
10. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\IBMLCD\WIN2K and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
11. Confirm IBMTPLCD.INF is selected, and click OK.
12. Select one panel in the list you are using now, and click Next.
13. Follow the instructions, and finish the installation.
14. Select Color Management tab to make sure IBMTPLCD.ICM file is loaded.
15. Reboot the computer to take effects.

III. Installation instructions For upgrading Windows 98 Second Edition from Windows 95/98
Note:
The following procedures assume to use APM (Advanced Power Management) mode.

Updating APM driver

1. Start Windows 95/98.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Open the Windows Explorer .
4. Find C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\APMINST\UPGRADE\APMINST.REG file, and double click it.
5. Confirm that the message, Information in APMINST.REG has been successfully entered into the registry, is displayed.
6. Click OK.
7. Start upgrading Windows 98 Second Edition.

1. Make the backup copy of Windows 98 Second Edition Boot Disk.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Copy C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\APMINST\SCRATCH\APMINST.INF file to the backup copy of Windows 98 Second Edition Boot Disk . From now on, use this backup copy as the Windows 98 Second Edition Boot Disk.
4. Type E:\>SETUP A:\APMINST.INF to start Windows 98 Second Edition installation; Where, E: is the CD-ROM drive letter for Windows 98 Second Edition CD-ROM. A: is the diskette drive letter for Windows 98 Second Edition Boot Disk.
5. Follow the instruction of Windows 98 Second Edition Install program.

1. Start Windows 98.
2. If you have not, extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type in the following command in the Open box and click OK . MOVE C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\PCMCIA\WIN9598\W98.INF C:\WINDOWS\INF\PCMCIA.INF If prompted to overwrite, click Yes.
5. Close Finished - MOVE window.
6. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
7. Double click the System icon and click the Device Manager tab.
8. Remove the PCMCIA controller(s) from the devices list.
9. Click the Refresh button. Then the system will re-detect the PCMCIA controller(s) .
10. Ensure the detected controller is enabled.
11. Reboot the system.

1. Start Windows 95.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\CHIPSET\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
5. At the Welcome screen, read the license agreement. If you agree, click Next , then Next.
6. Click OK to restart the system.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen and use default settings to complete the setup when Windows 95 is restarted. Further information is available in the README.TXT file located in the C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\CHIPSET directory.

1. Start Windows 95.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, select Programs, then click MS-DOS Prompt.
4. Enter the following commands at the MS-DOS prompt, and press the ENTER key for the each command. If prompted to overwrite, say Yes.
   
   COPY C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\PCMCIA\WIN9598\PCMCIA.INF C:\WINDOWS\INF\
   COPY C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\PCMCIA\WIN9598\CBSS.VXD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\
   COPY C:\DRIVERS\WIN\SUPP\PCMCIA\WIN9598\PCCARD.VXD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\
   
   
5. Type in EXIT and press the ENTER key to close the MS-DOS Prompt window.
6. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
7. Double-click the System icon, then the Device Manager tab.
8. Double-click the PCMCIA controller(s), and remove all devices under it (them) by clicking Remove.
9. Check if PCI CardBus Bridge exists in Other devices in the list. If not exits, go to the step 10. If exists, double-click the Other devices, and remove the PCI CardBus Bridge under it by clicking Remove.
10. Click the Refresh button. Then the system will re-detect the PCMCIA controller(s).
11. Click Yes in Version Conflict dialog box.
12. Double-click Texas Instruments PCI-1211 CardBus Controller.
13. Remove check mark in front of Disable in this hardware profile.
14. Click OK.
15. Click Next, then click Next.
16. Click Finish.
17. Reboot the system.
