The following version of Caldera OpenLinux supports the ThinkPad T20 at the time of announcement

Operating systems other than those preinstalled on the systems may not provide full-feature functionality.
Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4 does not support dynamic performance mode switching of the Intel SpeedStep technology. If the system is turned on while on AC power, using the AC power adapter, the maximum performance mode remains on even if switched to battery-powered mode. If the system is turned on while on battery power, the battery optimized performance mode remains even if switched to AC power mode.
ACPI or Plug and Play BIOS is not supported
DVD movies are not supported.
Surround sound decode is not supported
Advanced mixer audio is not supported
3D acceleration is not supported
MPEG acceleration is not supported
ZV Port is not supported
Docking is not supported
Modem-Ethernet LAN combination cards are not supported
Modem driver supports data and FAX transmission only, with no "voice modem" support.
TV Out port is not supported
Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4 supports only keyboard and mouse options in the USB port.
