This package provides the audio driver for Microsoft Windows 2000 users.
Only the following Machine Types and Models are supported: - ThinkPad i Series 1400 Type 2621-422-442-482-483-492-4E2 - ThinkPad i Series 1500 Type 2651-542-562-592
Note: - Your machine type and model number can be found on the bottom of the unit next to the bar code label. - This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.

II. Installation instructions
Start Windows 2000 and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
Extract this package to the hard disk.
Click Start -> Run.
Type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE and click OK.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Restart the system for the driver to be effective.
III. Determining which version is installed
Start Windows 2000.
Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
Open the System icon.
Click the Hardware Tab.
Click the Device Manager button.
Expand the Sound, video and game controller section.
