NOTE:
For ThinkPad 240Z users, this display driver version will only work with BIOS Version 1.03.57 (or higher). Get the additional package, System Program Service Diskette Version 1.04 (BIOS Version 1.03.57) or higher, and update the BIOS in the system prior to installing the video driver.

NOTE: *1The approximate value when using only an external monitor. When the LCD and external monitor are used at the same time, refresh rate, resolution, or color depth may be lower. And if you are using an old external monitor, the resolution and color depth might be limited.

II. Installation instructions

1. Start Windows 95/98/Me.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WME\DISPLAY\SETUP in the Open box and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows.
2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the System icon.
4. Click the Device Manager tab.
5. Double-click Display adapters.
6. Double-click Silicon Motion lynxEM+.
7. Click Driver tab.
8. Click Driver File Details button. You can find version here. The version is displayed in the version line.
