The Media Control Buttons enables or updates the Media Control Buttons functions.
This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad i Series 1200 Machine Type
1161 - 11x, 41x, 46N, 51x, 56N, 61x, 66N, 71x, 91x, 12x, 42x, 62x, 92x , 72x, 47N, 57N, 67N
- ThinkPad i Series 1300 Machine Type 1171 - 2AU, 21U, 61F, 61G, 61M, 61U, 71U, 81G, 81M, 91F, 91U, 5Wx, 7Wx, 6Lx, 9Lx, 5BU *1
- ThinkPad 130 Machine Type 1171 - 51J, 61J, 71J, 81J, 52J, 62J, 72J, 82J

NOTE : This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

II. Installation instructions
NOTE:
Before installing Media Control Buttons, install Easy Launch Buttons.
Clean Installation
- Start Windows 98/Me, or for Windows 2000 log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator..
- Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then clck Run.
- Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MMKEY\setup.exe in the Open box and click the OK button.
- Click Next to continue with the setup program.
- Follow the procedure to complete the installation.
Update Installation
- Start Windows 98/Me, or for Windows 2000 log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click the Install/Uninstall tab
- Click MMKEY.
- Click the Add/Remove or for Windows 2000 the Change/Remove button.
- Click Yes, when the Confirm File Deletion window appears, to remove current Media Control Buttons from the system.
- Click OK to complete the uninstallation.
- Follow the Clean Installation procedure for new Media Control Buttons.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows 98/Me/2000.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click the Install/Uninstall tab. Then it will show MMKEY in the list with version number.
