II. Installation instructions
Upgrade Install OR Uninstall:

1. Start Windows NT 4.0.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then clck Run.
4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MODEM\LTREMOVE.EXE in the Open box and click Yes.
5. Follow the instructions. The system will restart.
6. If upgrade installation, follow the steps in Clean Install section described below.

Clean Install:

1. If a modem driver has been already installed, execute uninstall procedure first.
2. Start Windows NT 4.0 and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
3. If you have not already, extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
4. Click Start, then clck Run.
5. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MODEM\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click Next.
6. Follow the instructions, and restart the system.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows NT 4.0.
2. Click Start, select Programs, select Accessories, select Communications, then click Hyper Terminal.
3. Double-click the Hyper Terminal icon.
4. Type any name, and click OK.
5. Choose Lucent modem, then click Cancel.
6. Type ati3, and press the Enter key. The version will be displayed.
