Upgrading or uninstalling the driver

1. Start Windows 95/98.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\MODEM\LTREMOVE.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions. The system will restart.
6. If this is an upgrade installation of the driver, follow the steps in the Clean Installing section described below.

Clean Installing the driver

1. Start Windows 95/98.
2. If you have not already, extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\MODEM\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
5. Click Yes. The installation will be finished automatically.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows.
2. Click Start, select Programs, select Accessories, select Communications, and then click HyperTerminal.
3. Double-click the HyperTerminal icon.
4. Type any name and click OK.
5. Choose Lucent modem, then click Cancel.
6. Type ati3 and press the Enter key. The version will be displayed.
