I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions

1. Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the package to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then clck Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE and click OK.
5. Click the Next button.
6. Follow the SETUP steps and click OK when Audio Driver Installed is displayed.
7. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

UNATTENDED INSTALL: Use SETUP.EXE /S command at the step 4 above.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows 2000.
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the System icon.
4. Click the Hardware tab.
5. Click the Device Manager button.
6. Double-click the Sound, video and game controller device.
7. Double-click ESS Solo1 PCI AudioDrive (WDM).
8. Click the Driver tab.
9. Then it will show the version number.
