Windows 98 installation supplement files IV - ThinkPad 1200, 1300

This package contains:
- IBM LCD Panel Color Profile support
- C3 State Profile support

This package is applicable to:
- ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161 - 43*, 73*, 93*, 94*, 96*)
- ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171 - 4**, 6MU, 8MU, 9MU)
NOTES:
If you used the Product Recovery CD-ROM shipped with your ThinkPad to restore the Windows 98 preload environment, you do not need this package. This package is required when you install Windows 98 without the Product Recovery CD-ROM.
This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

NOTE: This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
Windows 98 Second Edition
Apply IBM LCD Color Profile

  1. Unzip the package into a temporary directory.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
  3. Open the Display icon.
  4. Select the Settings tab.
  5. Click the Advanced button.
  6. Select the Monitor tab then click the Change button.
  7. Select Specify the location then click the Next button.
  8. Select Display a list then click Next button.
  9. Click the Have Disk button.
  10. Specify the directory where ibmtplcd.inf and ibmtplcd.icm files exist.
  11. Select ibmtplcd.inf and then click OK button.
  12. Click the OK button.
  13. Select one panel from the list that corresponds to the one you are using now.
  14. Click the OK button.
  15. Click the Apply button.
  16. Select Color Management tab to make sure IBMTPLCD file is loaded.

C3 state profile

  1. Unzip the file onto the hard drive.
  2. Enter sub-directly USBPM.
  3. Double Click on C3USB98.REG.
III. Determining which version is installed
