II. Installation instructions
NOTE: Before installing the Notebook Manager package, run Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel to remove any previous Notebook Manager, if any.

1. Start Windows 98/Me.
2. Extract the Notebook Manager package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then clck Run.
4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\NBUTIL\setup.exe in the Open box and click OK.
5. Click Next to continue with the setup program.
6. Follow the instructions on screen to complete the installation.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Start Windows 98/Me.
2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Notebook Manager, then click Notebook Manager to open the Notebook Manager window.
3. Right-click anywhere in the Notebook Manager window to pop up a menu.
4. Select About from the menu to show the version number.
