These diskettes provides the PC-Doctor DOS ThinkPad diagnostics.
Only the following models are supported:
- ThinkPad i Series 1200 Machine type 1161 - 43*, 73*, 93*, 94*, 96*
- ThinkPad i Series 1300 Machine type 1171 - 4MU, 5CU, 5X*, 6MU, 6XU, 7XG, 8MU, 8XU, 9MU, 9X*
NOTE:
- Your machine type is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

II. Diagnostics Procedure
- Power off the system.
- Insert the PC-Doctor DOS diskette into the diskette drive and power on the system.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE: PC-Doctor DOS provides some benchmark tests, for example, a test to indicate how much battery power remains. Results of such tests might differ from the specifications provided in the user's guide and catalog. The results vary depending on the testing method and the testing environment, and IBM does not guarantee these results.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Run PC-Doctor DOS.
- Select the Quit menu by keyboard or mouse
- Select About to view the version (ex. 2.0.1003b).
NOTE: This version information does not show minor version. For example, the version 2.0.1003b shows version 2.0.1003.
