The accompanying DVD-Video Player Upgrade package can update the Mediamatics DVD-Video Player in the ThinkPad system.
The following ThinkPad computers are supported:

NOTE : This driver will now automatically extract to your hard disk drive. It will only extract under Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Me, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft Windows 2000.

I. Summary of changes

- (Fix) (Windows 2000) 256 color mode option is not greyed out.
- (Fix) (Windows 2000) DVD playback stops after sometime in battery mode.
- (Fix) (Windows 2000) DVD/VCD playback stops after one or two hours.
II. Installation instructions
NOTE:
- This driver is only supported on the ThinkPad systems listed above.
- This package can not be installed without the DVD-Video player already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purposes only.
- Start Windows.
- Extract the package to your hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Mediamatics DVDExpress, then click Mediamatics DVD Player. The DVD player is launched.
- When the DVD player window appears, click the Options button. The Options button has an Envelope Icon on it and is the 3rd button on the left side of the player.
- By default, the About tab is displayed, the program version is displayed on the line that says Build version.
