Hard drive installation movie

To remove the hard disk drive:

1. Turn the computer off.
2. Then disconnect the AC adapter and all cables from the computer.
3. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
4. Slide the battery latch to the unlocked position and while holding the latch in the unlocked position, slide out the battery pack.
5. Remove the locking screw.
6. Open the cover and position the ThinkPad system on end.
7. Grasp the disk drive cover and slide out the drive.
   

To remove the cover:

1. Release the cover tabs from the drive posts.
2. Lift off the cover.
