Cannot select WPA option after resuming from standby mode

Symptom
When the user creates the network profile with EAP-TLS by using Windows Zero Configuration, the user suspend/ resume the system, the user can not select WPA option from the Authentication Menu of Windows Zero Configuration.

Affected configuration

Any of the following ThinkPad systems with Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 and a Cisco Systems Mini PCI Wireless LAN Card installed:

  • ThinkPad R32
  • ThinkPad R40
  • ThinkPad T30
  • ThinkPad T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42p
  • ThinkPad X30, X31
Solution

Reboot the system at this situation.
