Hard drive installation movie

To remove the hard disk drive:

1. Remove the battery pack:
   1. Turn the computer off.
   2. Disconnect the AC adapter and all cables from the computer.
   3. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
   4. Slide and hold the battery latch in the unlock position.
   5. Grasp the battery pack and pull it out of the system.
      Here is a closer look at a battery pack latch.
2. Remove the hard disk drive:
   1. Remove the single locking screw.
   2. Remove the hard disk drive cover.
   3. Grasp the hard disk drive removal tab and pull the drive out.
   4. Remove the hard disk drive shock mounts.
   5. Flex the shock mount to release it from the drive and place aside.
   6. Use the same procedure to remove the other shock mount.
