- (New) Initial release for ThinkPad T60p
Note: If you wish to upgrade Power Manager, please uninstall it first.
- Start SUSE Linux.
- In a terminal window, type su (switch user) command to obtain root privileges.
- Type uname -r to determine the RPM package.
Example: 2.6.16.21-0.8-smp, then l79p12us-2.6.16-21-smp.rpm
2.6.16.21-0.8-bigsmp, then l79p12us-2.6.16-21-bigsmp.rpm
- Copy the RPM file to the hard drive, for example, /home/tvt directory.
- Change directory to the location where you saved the file.
- Type rpm -ihv [Package Name].rpm.
Example: rpm -ihv l79p12us-2.6.16-21-smp.rpm
- Start SUSE Linux.
- In a terminal window, type "su" (switch user) command to obtain root privileges.
- Type "rpm -e L79P".
In a terminal window, type "rpm -qa L79P" to display the current build version of Power Manager that is installed on the system.
