This package enables or upgrades the audio function of ADI Audio for Microsoft Windows Vista users. The following audio device is integrated into your system:
- SoundMAX Audio
This package enables or updates the audio function on the following systems:

- (New) Initial release for 3000 N100 (all models except 0689-Exx, Fxx, Gxx and 0768-Exx, Fxx, Gxx)
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO.
- Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
- Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. The device driver will be installed automatically.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE
- If the message, "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears, click Install this driver software anyway to continue installing.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Reboot the system to complete the installation.
This procedure is intended for system administrators use only.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
- Specify "SETUP.EXE -s" with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and press Enter. The device driver will be installed automatically.
- If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click OK to continue installing.
- Reboot the system to complete the installation.
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, click Control Panel, then click Programs.
- Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program.
- Right-click SoundMAX and select Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
