Installation instructions

Notes:

During the installation, please do not touch the keyboard, the trackpoint, or the mouse.
From this version, some of the virtual devices are installed when you use the Bluetooth software for the first time after you install it. Wait a while until the virtual devices installation completes.

Turn the hardware Wireless switch ON to enable Bluetooth.
If the Found New Hardware wizard starts, click Cancel.
Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\BTOOTH
Click Start, then click Run.
Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 3, and click OK.
Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\BTOOTH\SETUP.EXE
Follow the instructions through the install.
If requested, click Yes to restart the computer.

Unattended Install

Note: This is for system administrators use only.

Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges.
Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
Click Start, then click Run.
Type C:\DRIVERS\BTOOTH\setup.exe /qn /ru /ri and click Okay.

Uninstallation

Click Start, select Settings then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Select Lenovo Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software and click Uninstall.
Click Yes to start the Uninstall.
Click Yes to restart the system.
