This package installs the software (integrated camera driver) to enable the following device. - Integrated Camera
Supported ThinkPad systems: - T500 - W500, W700(*1)(*2), W700ds(*1)(*2) - X200, X200s, X200 Tablet(*1) - X300, X301
Supported Operating Systems: - Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit, 64-bit (*1) - Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit, 64-bit - Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (*2) - Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Professional SP2, XP Tablet PC Edition 2005
Notes: - *1: ThinkPad W700, W700ds support the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Professional edition only. - *1: ThinkPad X200 Tablet does not support Windows 7 Home Basic edition. *2: Only ThinkPad W700, W700ds support Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. - If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below. - This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

For previous driver versions 1.18.500.0 and 1.23.500.0, to be able to upgrade to latest version, please do manual uninstall of the above drivers first.

Notes:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Explorer.
[Downloading files]
- Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
- Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
[Extracting files]
- Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
- Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
- Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
- In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9.
[Install files]
- Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and click Finish.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer.
Finally delete the file saved in Step 4.
Note: This is intended for system administrators only.
- Refer to the "Manual Install" section, and download and extract the file.
- In the step 11 of the "Installing files" section, uncheck the checkbox next to "Install ..... now", and then click Finish to cancel installation.
- At the command line, execute setup.exe with the -s -f1.\Install.iss options.
Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\setup -s -f1.\Install.iss
[Windows 7/Vista]
- Start Windows 7/Vista.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click System and Security, then click System.
- Click Device Manager.
- Expand the Imaging Device section.
- Double-click Integrated Camera.
- Click the Driver tab, then the driver version will be displayed.
[Windows XP]
- Start Windows XP.
- Right-click My Computer on the Desktop, then select Properties.
- Click the Hardware tab.
- Click Device Manager.
- Expand the Imaging Device section.
- Double-click Integrated Camera.
- Click the Driver tab, then the driver version will be displayed.
