Manual Install
[Clean Install]
- Start Windows.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Run Command Prompt as Administrator
Click Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt.
Right click -> Run as Administrator
- Specify TpDrvLdr.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
- The device driver will be installed automatically.
- If necessary, restart the system.
[Update Install]
- Same step as Uninstall.
- Same step as Unattended Install.
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
- Start Windows.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Run Command Prompt as Administrator.
Click Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt ->
Right click -> Run as Administrator
- Specify TpDrvLdr.exe /s with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
- The device driver will be installed automatically.
- If necessary, restart the system.
- Start Windows.
- Open Control Panel.
Click Start, and select Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click Uninstall a program which under Programs.
- Select Synaptics Pointing Device Driver.
- Click Uninstall.
If system pop-up Programs and Features dialog, click Yes.
Then, system will pop-up User Account Control dialog, click Allow.
- Device Utility will be uninstalled automatically.
- Click Yes to restart system.
- Click Start, and select Control Panel.
- Click System and Maintenance.
- Click System, select Device Manager.
System will pop-up User Account Control dialog, click Continue.
- Double click Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right click at Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad, select Uninstall.
- Enable Delete the driver software for this device, click OK.
- Device Driver will be uninstalled automatically.
- If necessary, restart the system.
