Notes:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
- After installation, refer to the Cariblation of Touch Screen section to cariblate the screen.
This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.
Downloading files
- Click once on the underlined file name with the left mouse button. Once this is done, a pop-up window will appear.
- In this pop-up window, choose (using the left mouse button) the directory you would like to download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete without your assistance.
- Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.
- After being downloaded, the file will need to be extracted.
Extracting files
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
- Locate the file that was just downloaded and click it using the right mouse button then select Extract All.
- The file will begin to extract in the directory where the downloaded file is located.
Installing files
- Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the directory where the files were extracted.
- Double-click setup.exe.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the computer.
Finally delete the file saved in Downloading Files step 2
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
- Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files.
- At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -s options.
Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\SETUP.EXE -s
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Double click Touch Panel Utility.
- Click Calibration.
[Windows Vista]
- Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Under Programs, click Uninstall Programs.
- Double-click MultiTouch Driver.
- Click Continue, click Remove, and then follow the instructions.
- Restart the computer.
[Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005]
- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove programs.
- Click MultiTouch Driver.
- Click Change/Remove.
- Click Remove, then follow the instructions.
- Restart the computer.
[Windows Vista]
Driver:
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click System and Maintenance, then click System.
- From the left pane, click Device Manager.
- Click "+" at Human Interface Devices.
