- All ThinkPad systems (except ThinkPad L410, L510, R400, R500, T400, T500, X200, X200s, X200 tablet, X301,W500, W700, W700ds, SL410, SL510 systems)
Note: It is required to upgrade the Fingerprint Reader to version 5.6.2 or higher before upgrading to 5.9.2. This software is not supported on Value Line Family desktops or Value Line Family notebooks with integrated fingerprint reader.

Administrator rights are required to install or uninstall ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software.

- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded files.
