I. Summary of Changes
version 6.29.00Q
- (Fix) Black cells appear right after opening MS Project 98 with 256/64K colors.

II. Installation instructions
Microsoft Windows 95 (Retail Version, Service Pack 1)
- Boot Windows 95.
- Extract the Video drivers onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab.
- Click the Change Display Type button.
- Click the Change button under Adapter type field.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button.
- Windows 95 finds NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD device. Click the OK button. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your hard diskdrive.
- After driver files are copied, click the Close button to close the Change Display Type window.
- Select color depth, resolution, and font.
- Click the Close button to close the Display Properties windows.
- Click the Yes button to restart Windows 95.
Microsoft Windows 95 (OSR2: OEM Service Release 2 )
- Boot Windows 95.
- Extract the drivers onto the hard diskdrive.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced Properties button.
- Click the Change button in the Adapter tab.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button.
- Windows 95 finds NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD device. Click the OK button. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your hard diskdrive.
- After driver files are copied, click the Close button to close the Advanced Display Properties window.
- Select color depth, resolution, and font.
- Click the Close button to close the Display Properties windows.
- Click the Yes button to restart Windows 95.
Microsoft Windows 98
- Boot Windows 98.
- Extract the drivers onto the hard diskdrive.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Select the Adapter tab.
- Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard runs.
- Click the Next button.
- Select the Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want and click the Next button.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY in the source path and click the OK button.
- Windows 98 finds NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD device. Click the OK button.
- If Update Driver Warning appears on the screen, click the Yes button to continue to install.
- Click the Next button. If Windows 98 cannot find driver files, change the source path to C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button. Windows 98 copies all driver files to your hard diskdrive.
- After driver files are copied, click the Finish button.
- Click the Yes button to restart Windows 98.

- Open display control panel again.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select color depth, resolution.
- Click the OK button.
--- Font setting ---
- Open display control panel again.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Select font size.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Close button to close the Display Properties window.
- Click the Yes button to restart Windows 98.
Microsoft Windows Me
- Boot Windows Me.
- Extract the drivers onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Click/Double-click the Display icon
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Click the Adapter tab.
- Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window will appear.
- Select the Specify the location of the driver(Advanced) then click the Next button.
- Select the Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want and click the Next button.
- Click the Have Disk button. The Install From Disk window will appear.
- In the Copy manufacturing file's from: box, type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY\ and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. The Select a device list will appear.
- Confirm NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD is selected in the Models: field and click the OK button.
- If Update Driver Warning appears on the screen, click the Yes button to continue to install.
- If Version Conflict appears on the screen, click the No button to replace.
- After driver files are copied, click the Finish button.
- Click the Yes button to restart Windows Me.
III. Determining which version is installed
Windows 95(OSR2)/98/Me
- Start Windows 95/98/Me.
- Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Click the Adapter tab.
- Check version information. For example, 4.11.01.0023-Q6.29.00 stands for version 6.29.00Q.
