The video driver enables or updates the video function of the following ThinkPad system: - ThinkPad 380Z* - ThinkPad 570*, 570E * - ThinkPad 600E *
Notes: - * This driver cannot be installed to AGP system without Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later. Install the Service Pack first, then try to install this driver to the system. - This program is language independent and can be used with any language system. |

Notes:
- This driver will now automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT,
and Windows 2000.
- Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later needs to be installed before applying this video drivers.

I. Summary of changes

-(Fix) The system will hang when switching the display device using Fn+F7 after the screen saver 3D Maze has been running for 15 minutes

II. Installation instructions
- Boot Windows NT 4.0 and logon with administrative privilege.
- Extract the drivers onto the hard drive.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel .
- Double-click the Display icon in the window. The Display Settings dialog window will appear.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the Display Type... button. The Display Type dialog window will appear.
- Click the Change... button in the Adapter Type field. The Select Device dialog window will appear.
- Click the Have Disk... button in the dialog box.
- In the Copy manufacturing file's from: dialog box, type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\ and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. The device list will appears.
- Select NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV choice from the Models field; then click the OK button.
- Click the Yes button to confirm that you are installing a third-party driver.
- Click the OK button after the copy is done.
- Click the Close button to close the Display Type window.
- Click the Close button to close the Display Properties window.
- Click the Restart Now button when Windows NT prompts you to restart.
- After the system restarts and the Invalid Display Settings message appears , click the OK button.
- The Display Properties window will appear. Select your screen parameter from the color palette, desktop area, and refresh frequency.
- Click the Test button and make sure the selected mode is displayed correctly on the screen.
- Click the OK button in the Display Properties window.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start and logon Windows NT.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel .
- Double-click the Display icon in the window. The Display Settings dialog window will appear.
- Select the NeoMagic tab. The number beside the picture of a diskette is the version number.
