I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
- Start Windows 95/98.
- Extract the Audio Features II for Windows 95/98 to the hard disk drive.
- Click Start , then click Run .
- In the Run dialog window, type " C:\DRIVERS\W9X\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE " to install the audio driver. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- At the Crystal Audio Setup window, click the Uninstall Crystal Drivers . When prompted to Shut Down or Restart your system, click the Restart button.
- When Windows restarts, it will detect new hardware and bring up the Add New Hardware Wizard (Windows 98) or Update Device Driver Wizard (Windows 95). Click the Next button to continue.
- Windows 95 users can skip to step 8. At the "What do you want Windows to do?" prompt, ensure "Search for best driver for your device" is selected and click the Next button.
- At the "Windows will search for new drivers" window, ensure only ' Specify a location " (Windows 98) or " Other locations... " (Windows 95) is checked. In the box beneath, type in " C:\DRIVERS\W9X\AUDIO\ ". If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. Click the Next button to continue.
- Windows will then identify the device as a Crystal SoundFusion(TM) PCI Audio Accelerator with the location of the driver set to "CWCAUDIO.INF", click the Next button to continue.
- When copying completes, click the Finish button.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Click Start , point to Settings , then click Control Panel .
- Double-click the System icon.
- Click the Device Manager tab.
- Expand the Sound, video and game controller section
- Select Crystal SoundFusion(tm) PCI Audio Accelerator and click the Properties button.
- Click the Driver Tab.
- Click the Driver File Details button.
- Click %WINDOWS%\system\CWCMMSYS.VXD (%WINDOWS% is the name of the folder where Windows is installed).
- File version column shows the driver version. For example: File version: 4.11.2884
