II. Installation instructions
NOTE:
- This driver can only be used on the supported ThinkPads listed above.
- This package can not be installed without the DVD-Video player already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purposes only.
- Under Windows 98, DirectX 8.0 or later version must be installed first.
- Start Windows.
- Extract the package onto your hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE to. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the system.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Click Start, select Programs, select Mediamatics DVDExpress, and then click Mediamatics DVD Player. The DVD player is launched.
- When the DVD player is launched, click the Options button. The Options button has an Envelope Icon on it and is the 3 button on the left side of the player. By default, the About tab is displayed, the program version is displayed on the line that says Build version.
