I. Summary of changes

Version 3.1.97

  • (New) Initial release - support for ThinkPad R31.

Version 2.1.11

  • (New) Malaysia PTT support.
  • (Fix) The system may hang-up when entering suspend mode while using the HyperTerminal application.

II. Installation instructions
NOTE: If the audio driver has not been installed on the system, install the audio driver prior to the modem driver.

  1. Start Microsoft Windows NT and log on with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
  3. Click Start and then click Run.
  4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\MODEM\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Restart the system for the driver to take effect.

Determining which version is installed

  1. Start Windows NT.
  2. Double-click My Computer.
  3. Double-click C:.
  4. Double-click the Winnt or Winnt40 folder.
  5. Double-click the System32 folder.
  6. Find the file named AGRSMNT.SYS, right-click the icon, and then click Properties.
  7. Click the Version tab to view the driver version.
