I. Summary of changes
Version 1.35

• This release fixes an issue with the Battery MaxiMiser power scheme not changing the LCD brightness after you boot to the operating system and then plug in the AC Adapter.

II. Installation instructions
Notes:

• From Version A-1.30, the package structure was reorganized. If you already installed "Utility Wizard package", uninstall it first and reboot before installing this package. Then install the following package:
  • ThinkPad Presentation Director (for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP)
    
    
• If you install newer version after uninstalling a previous version on Windows 2000/XP, reboot the system after uninstallation.
• Software Installer provides install/uninstall wizard for this package.

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP or Windows NT4.0. For Windows 2000/XP and Windows NT 4.0, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
3. Click Start and then click Run.
4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\BMMPM\SETUP.EXE and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
   
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000/XP or Windows NT4.0. For Windows 2000/XP and Windows NT 4.0, logon with a User ID of Administrator.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start and then click Run.
4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\BMMPM\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

III. Determining which version is installed
Method 1:

1. Start Battery MaxiMiser Wizard and see the first page. You will see the version information on the screen.

Method 2:

1. Start the Battery Information program. The main screen will be displayed.
2. Select About... system menu. The version will be displayed.
