InterVideo WinDVD CPUID patch for Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP - ThinkPad A31, A31p, R31, R32, T30 |
The accompanying InterVideo WinDVD Upgrade package can update the InterVideo WinDVD Player in the ThinkPad system.
The following ThinkPad computers are supported:
- ThinkPad A31, A31p (*1)
- ThinkPad T30 (*1)(*2)
- ThinkPad R31 (*1)
- ThinkPad R32 (*3)
NOTES:
*1: Supports Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP only.
*2: Only the following T30 models support Windows Me:
2366/2367 - x1x, x2x, x3x, x4x, x5x, A6x, and A7x, except for M1x, M2x, M3x, M4x, and M5x
*3: Supports Windows 98/NT4/2000/XP only. |

- (Fix) Cannot play a DVD title with a new type of Intel CPU.
II. Installation instructions
NOTES:
- This update is only supported on the ThinkPads listed above.
- This package requires InterVideo WinDVD to be already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose only.
- Start Windows.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify cpuidpatch.exe with the full path where you copied the package, and click OK.
Example: C:\temp\cpuidpatch.exe
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Click Start and select Programs
- Click InterVideo WinDVD and click InterVideo WinDVD to launch the DVD Panel player.
- When the DVD Panel player loads, right-click on the DVD Panel player, and click About...
