This package installs an update to the Microsoft Windows 98SE and Me video device driver for systems containing the following Intel chipsets:

Intel 845G chipset
Intel 845GL chipset
Intel 865G chipset
Intel 845GE chipset
Intel 845GV chipset

This package applies to NetVista and ThinkCentre systems containing any of the listed Intel chipsets. This update requires approximately 23MB of space on your hard drive.

Downloading the update

  1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

Installing the update

  1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
  2. Type e46z36us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the e46z36us.exe file you just downloaded.
  3. Double-click the e46z36us.exe icon.
  4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
  5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\E46Z36US.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at the end of installation.
