II. Installation instructions
NOTES:

• This driver can only be used on the supported ThinkPad systems listed above.
• This package can not be installed without the InterVideo WinDVD already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purposes only. Not all ThinkPad systems are shipped with the DVD player software. If shipped with your system, the full version of this software can be found in the C:\ibmtools\apps directory. This only applies if you are using the preloaded software image as shipped with your system.
• ThinkPad Software Installer provides install and uninstall wizards for this package.

Standard install

1. Start Windows.
2. Extract the package to your hard disk drive.
3. Click Start and then click Run.
4. Specify the SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Unattended install
NOTE: This is for system administrators' use only.

1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start and then click Run.
4. Type [Program Path]\setup -S -SMS and click OK, where [Program Path] is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2.

II. Determining which version is installed

1. Click Start, select Programs, select InterVideo WinDVD, and then click InterVideo WinDVD. The DVD Panel player is launched.
2. Right-click the DVD Panel player and then click About.
