Installation Guide
Windows 3.1

  1. Start Windows 3.1.
  2. Insert the Audio Features for DOS/Windows 3.1 diskette into the floppy drive.
  3. Select File, and then click Run on the Program Manager window.
  4. Enter A:\SETUP.EXE and click OK.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

NOTE: The MIDI serial port connector is available when the computer is attached to the Enhanced Port Replicator. The MIDI port capability is disabled as a default, so you need to enable the function with the ThinkPad Features program. You need to install the MPU401 Support Software from the Windows 3.1 Diskette. Select and install the Roland MPU401 device driver in the Control Panel.

DOS
The DOS driver is installed automatically when the Windows 3.1 driver is installed by above instructions.
