I. Summary of changes

II. Installation Instructions
NOTE: You must install Service Pack 4 or greater prior to installing this driver.
- Extract the audio support to Windows NT.
- Double-click setup.exe. The startup message appears and then disappears.
- A dialog box appears welcoming you to the installer. Click the Next button. A dialog box appears showing the progress as Setup copies the driver files to the startup disk.
- Then a dialog box appears telling you that the installation is complete. Click Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click the Finish button. Your computer restarts and loads the new driver.
Updating the Audio Support Software for Windows NT 4.0
NOTE: You must install Service Pack 4 or greater prior to installing this driver.
- Extract the audio support to Windows NT.
- Double-click setup.exe. The startup message appears and then disappears.
- Then a dialog box appears welcoming you to the installer and telling you that a driver is already installed. Click the Next button.
- A dialog box appears asking you whether you want to update or remove the existing driver. Click Update, and then click the Next button.
- Setup marks the driver files for deletion. Then a dialog box appears telling you that the first half of the update is complete. Click Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click the Finish button.
- A dialog box appears reminding you that Setup will automatically run again to finish the update after your computer restarts. Click the OK button. Your computer restarts and deletes the driver files that were marked for deletion. Then Setup runs automatically to install the new driver. A dialog box appears showing the progress as Setup copies the driver files to the startup disk.
- Then a dialog box appears telling you that the second half of the update is complete. Click Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click the Finish button. Your computer restarts and loads the new driver.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Double-click My Computer, click View, click Folder Options, click the Select View tab, then check Show all files. Select the file specified the step below.
- Right-click \WinNT\system32\drivers\cwcmmsys.sys and select Properties.
- Select Version tab and confirm the File version is 4.01.2084
