SiS 630 video driver for Windows 2000 - NetVista 2179, 6643

This package installs an update to the Microsoft Windows 2000 device driver for the SiS 630 Integrated Video driver that comes preinstalled in your IBM Aptiva or NetVista computer. This update requires approximately 44 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

This update package is intended for IBM NetVista machine types 2179-xxx, and 6643-xxx that come with a preinstalled SiS 630 video adapter.

Downloading the update

  1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

 

Installing the update

  1. Click Start, highlight Search, then clickFiles and folders.
  2. Type qo9z11us.exe in the search box, then click Search Now.This will locate the qo9z11us.exe file you just downloaded.
  3. Double-click the icon for qo9z11us.exe.
  4. Read the license agreement.
  5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next. Ensure that Save files in folder is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QO9Z11US.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. Shutdown and restart your system when the installation is complete.
