Intel IDE Bus Master driver for OS/2 - Z21T14A - NetVista

This package installs an Intel ATA storage driver on your NetVista system with the Intel 80801 chipset, and the ATA-66 Ultra DMA.

This update takes approximately 100 KB of space on your diskette (A:) drive.

Downloading the update

Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

Extracting the update

Insert a blank 1.44MB floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
Run z21t14a.exe from the directory in which it was downloaded. The files will extract to the floppy diskette.

Installing the update

Open an OS/2 Window on your system.
Locate the current OS/2 boot partition on your hard drive. This is usually the C: drive and will contain the OS2 sub-directory.
Copy IBM1S506.ADD and IBMIDECD.FLT to the root directory of your hard disk drive (C:).
Reboot your system.
