Intel(R) Priority Packet is a traffic prioritization utility that enables an administrator to set up priority filters to tag frames with user priority levels. The Intel(R) Priority Packet software does mapping network policy to 802.1p user priority levels or HPQ in the NIC (Network Information Card). I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
(Intel(R) PRO/100+ Mini PCI) The name of the Ethernet device driver is Intel(R) PRO/100+ MiniPCI in the Device Manager and in the Network Control Panel.
- Start Windows.
- Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify the installation program SETUP.EXE with full path you extracted in the step 2 and click OK.
- Follow instructions on the screen.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows.
- Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. If Intel(R) Priority Packet icon is not found in the Control Panel, the software is not installed in your computer.
- Double-click the Intel(R) Priority Packet icon.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Statistics tag.
