I. Summary of changes

• (Fix) Fix setup program module not to remove other devices.
  

II. Installation instructions

1. Start Windows Me.
2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then clck Run.
4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions If the message window that says Digital Signature Not Found, click Yes button.

III. Uninstall instructions

1. Start Windows Me.
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Modems icon. If there is no Modems icon, click the view all Control Panel options link at the right side of the window.
4. Select Lucent Win Modem and click Remove.

IV. Determining which version is installed
If there is an alphabet letter in the version number, check the date stamp of each file which version is installed.

To check the date/time of these files,

1. Start Windows Me
2. Click Start, select Search, then click Files or Folders.
3. In the Search for files or folders named: field, type the file name listed above table.
4. Check if C: is included in the Look in: field.

5. Click Search Options link and check Advanced Options check box. Then check Search Subfolders check box.
6. Click the Find Now button. Windows Me will now search your hard disk drive for the specified file. If the file is not found, then the Modem driver is not installed on your system.
7. When finished searching, select the file name, scroll the window to the right and look at the Modified column to check the date/time of the each file.
