II. Installation instructions

  1. Extract the CrystalWave Synthesizer to Windows NT.
  2. Run the setup program included with the driver files copied in the earlier step.
  3. Click Install to install the components.
  4. When installation program prompts you, restart Windows NT to make the change effective.

III. Confirming the Driver is installed

  1. MIDI file is able to play.
  2. Open Multimedia Properties, select the MIDI tab. CrystalWave Synth is shown in MIDI output.

IV. Determining which version is installed

  1. Right-click \Winnt\system32\cssynthe.exe and select Properties.
  2. Select Version tab and check the file version.
