This package installs an update to the IBM Token Ring PCI device driver for OS-2, Netware, and Microsoft Windows 3.11 that comes preinstalled in your IBM computer.
This document refers to NetVista 6568-xx, 6569-xx, 6578-xx, 6579-xx, 6648-xx, and 6649-xx systems. This update requires approximately 1.00 MB of space on a diskette (drive A).

Downloading the update
- Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Extracting the update
- Insert a blank 1.44MB floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
- Run qc1t00a.exe from the directory in which it was downloaded. The files will extract to the floppy diskette.
Installing the update for OS/2
- Insert the NDIS drivers diskette into the appropriate drive.
- Open an OS/2 Window on your system.
- Use your product documentation file, IBMTRP.OS2, to install the driver.
- Modify the parameters if needed.
- This completes the installation procedure. You must now restart your system.
- Check for the following conditions to determine whether the adapter is working correctly and whether installation has been completed successfully:
- The device driver files load successfully. There are no error messages.
- The adapter LEDs indicate normal operation: green ON, amber OFF.
