This package contains an update to the device driver for the Intel 10/100 Ethernet that comes preinstalled in your IBM computer. This update requires approximately 17MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

This update package is intended for IBM NetVista systems that come preinstalled with Intel 10/100 Ethernet. This package can be extracted only under a Windows 32-bit operating system such as Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0, or 2000.

Downloading the update
  1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Extracting the update
  1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
  2. Type q37z26us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the q37z26us.exe file you just downloaded.
  3. Double-click the q37z26us.exe icon.
  4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
  5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\Q37Z26US.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish to extract the necessary files to your hard disk drive.
Installing the update

Once the drivers have been extracted, detailed installation notes are provided in the C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\Q37Z26US\INFO\Drivers.htm folder. When prompted for the location of the drivers, enter C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\Q37Z26US
