Note: Before you begin, you must perform the following:

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

CDC installation movie

To remove the modem daughter card

1. Remove the two screws.
2. Use the tab to lift the card up.
3. Disconnect the modem cable.
4. Lift the card out.

NOTE: Other systems might have other feature cards installed in this location, such as a Bluetooth/modem combo card.
