Note: After installing a Communications Daughter Card (CDC) you must reinstall the keyboard and the battery.

1. Install the keyboard.

CDC removal movie

To install the modem daughter card

1. Connect the modem cable.
2. Seat the modem connector.
3. Secure with the two screws.
   

Note: Other systems might have other feature cards installed in this location, such as a Bluetooth/modem combo card.
